Dr. R. Castellini has practiced cosmetic, holistic, mercury-free, and mercury-safe dentistry since 1998. He has devoted his dental career to practicing healthy, holistic, non-invasive, biocompatible dentistry. As a holistic, fluoride-free dentist, he is also a proponent of making the dental office occupationally safe regarding mercury, and he strives to protect the patient, the staff, and the environment from excessive and unnecessary exposure to mercury at the dental office.
Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART)
Dr. Castellini is aware that mercury vapor and dental infections can have a negative impact on the oral and overall health. Because of this concern, we focus on patient education and strive to remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings in a safe way.
To accomplish this, Dr. Castellini is a “SMART” certified dentist (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique), which utilizes removal protocols based on recommendations of a number of prominent holistic dental organizations. He is proud to be a mercury-free dentist.

Dr. Castellini is a strong advocate of conventional dentistry. He is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), where he received extensive training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry.
